Nintendo announces new console

As some of you may already know, Nintendo announced that they will be releasing a new console in 2012 ealier today at the E3 conference, called the Wii U.

I don't know about you guys but I think this looks pretty neat (though it looks like an add-on to the Wii more than anything).

I've always been a HUGE Nintendo fan (and ALL my consoles (at the moment) are all from Nintendo). But in this case, it’s kind of downgrading. I watched the Announcement yesterday, getting all excited. And then I came to the announcement, the Nintendo Wii-U! All we basically saw was a Controller... The actual system was very far into the background. But even with its amazing new features, it got me thinking about lots of things...
(Because I thought the Console in the Background was the original Wii) Is the Controller the Console? Its it just a Controller Add-On for the Wii? Or is it just going to be a Controller for a device in which (I thought) wasn't shown.
This leaded to thousands more questions....

On my terms, it is the first console from Nintendo that I’m concerned about... For once in my life, I’m having to say that I need more Details about a Nintendo Console. And then the news struck of the PS3, Xbox360 footage taken (http://uk.wii.ign.com/articles/117/1174313p1.html) and the 5% Share decrease (http://uk.wii.ign.com/articles/117/1174333p1.html), in which most of hit Nintendo, Me and other HUGE fans.

So I’m not sure if I can cope with Nintendo anymore, is it time for me to say goodbye to the Mario games that I’ve always’ed love in my Child years and say hello to the PS3/Vita and the Xbox360, is it time for me to become a Hardcore fan, or can Nintendo win everything back, from the Press, Me and other fans?
