How to import tilesets.

Post  xXIzayaXx on Sun Apr 20, 2014 11:25 am

I've got a couple of graphics I imported into SMBX and I'd like to know how to import them into Mario Builder. I made a spritesheet following the same example as the ForestTiles that come within Mario Builder Upload_Files folder, but for some reason Mario Builder doesn't find it.

The tileset was already in that same folder, but for some reason Mario Builder doesn't find it at all, I even changed the ForestTiles name and it still recognizes that tileset as ForestTiles, I'm really confused right now.

It looks like you haven't saved it as .png, Mario builder uses .png instead of .gif. I hope it will help you.

Nope, that's not the problem, it was saved as .png in the first place. There appears to be a problem with Mario Builder because the ForestTiles file isn't even in the folder and it still finds it somehow. I think I might have an extra "Upload_Files" folder somewhere, I'm going to search for it and if I don't find it I shall post here again.

It appears I was right, I had two Upload_Files folders for some weird reason, anyway, problem solved, this thread can be locked now.
