Creator Contest

I will be starting a Creator Contest! Post your Projects/Games to me! I can only have 50 Projects/Games, so by May 15 2016, I need EXACTLY 50 Projects/Games posted to me. Around the due date, I will start "grading" your Projects/Games. For the first "round", 25 People will make it to the next "round", and the other half, (25 people) will be disqualified. "Round 2" is like where 25 people are standing left, and 15 will be disqualified. The last 10 players will be going on to "Round 3"! In "Round 3", 5 will go on to the Final Round, ("Round 4") and the other 5 will end up being kicked out. In the Final round, ("Round 4") 5th, 4th, 3rd, 2nd and 1st place winners will be decided! The Player/Players with 80 points will win!!! In the contest, each Project/Game will be graded by points. There are 8 categories with 10 points each. The maximum amount of points can be up to 80 points!!! You will get points for the categories, "Level Design", "World/World Map Design", "Gameplay", "Decoration", "Difficulty", "Custom Tile Sets", Custom Backgrounds" and "Custom Music"!!! You will need at LEAST 50 points to access to the next "round". LET THE MARIO BUILDER GAMES BEGIN!!!!! THE BEST GAME WINS!!!!!!! GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!

well I would love to join and post super mecha bros 2 onto here but it's not finished (it's at world 2 currently and no demo has been released). Besides, I'm one of the best level designers there is on mario builder. If you would like to judge it based on the progress of it currently, you can and there's a thread to super mecha bros 2 on the projects sub-forum

I never thought about entering my game in a contest while I was making it, but sounds like fun. I'm in.
What are the requirements/criteria for the contest (single level, single world, or full game consisting of at least X number of worlds)?
Also, does the game/level have to be made specifically for the contest, or can it be a previous creation? Can a contestant submit more than one game?

So, what's going on with this contest? I haven't seen any updates. Is it still going on? I'm pretty much ready to submit my game.

It seems that way. Whatever. Contest or not, I'm done my game. It's posted in the projects section, Super Mario: Beyond the Mushroom Kingdom.

It's quite awesome. Difficulty progressively increases. The last Fortress, and Bowser's Castle are quite challenging, but possible. Lots of hidden areas.

Since you seem to be be the only one who has even submitted a game for this contest so far, we are sadly going to have to very sadly COMPLETELY end the contest and there will in fact be no winner at ALL. However, since your game was (in my opinion) SO GOOD, you actually deserve some sort of prize or reward for all the AMAZING hard work you put into it, that i GREATLY applude you for!!! let's talk sometime, and see what we can do.

guess I was right after all… I knew this contest was dead to begin with. Congrats to the winner (although beyond the mushroom kingdom is decent at best but it really needs to work on the fortress tiles)

I'd love to enter, but im late already and my project is on it's first steps yet
