Cleaning progress to the forums has been made!

Hello!

I am one of the administrators here. Maybe any of you has noticed that Mario Builder forums lose the number of registered members. This is because there were a lot of users who just spammed the space just by registering and not visiting the forums after that even for years now if at all. There were also a lot of not yet accepted members so as an administrator I felt too undisciplined …

This is because of the need to choose some activities from all ones in ridiculously limited time. Mario Builder V11 is OUT!

Mario Builder V11 -

-Many kinds of enemies can be placed ontop of a pipe opening. This will cause them to continually spawn from that pipe.
-Added an invisible text block
-Added the pink piranha plant by Alju5 through the engine challenge
-Added the ice bro by lukasmah through the engine challenge
-Added Ice bro to the overworld
-Boom Boom and Koopalings must take multiple shots …

Invisible pipe blocks
Invisible pipe curve
Luigis high jump
Invisible quicksand block
Invisible enter doors
Invisible exit doors
Invisible warp pipes
Invisible warp doors
Doors who warps you back and forth (Like smb3). Add invisible versions of these too
Animated custom tiles
Boss bass
Angry sun
Hammer bros move around on the world map(The player could set a route for them)
You can select the items witch a roulette block spawns
SMW style overworld options
Yoshi dosn,t eat twomps
Make an option in game settings that says that you can,t take yoshis into other levels(Like NSMBWII)
Toad and peach is playable with the same abillities as SMB2
Update the animation of Mario/Luigi picking up something(Four frames (SMAS SMB2)Instead of just two(Hello engine))

More invisible block (Solid, harm, etc.) variants (such as Drop, Move Left, Move Right, etc.)

Perhaps maybe the tiles from other Mario games, like NSMBW tiles or the coin flower and coin brick. Maybe sprites from other Mario games like the NSMB DS hammer bro, or the rings. (Red coin ring, blue coin ring, green coin ring, yellow coin ring from NSMB2) Also things like the falling spikes that shake from SMW, customizable sprites (Including how they behave, width, length, if you can stand on them, if they are bouncy, etc.), customizable autoscroll, the circular ground from NSMBW (Would be customizable), and more stuff from there. I know it seems like a lot, but it would definitely be worth it. Maybe even be able to work on levels together. Maybe we should be able to work with Ting_Thing to help work on it? Smile

Hmm well there is alot of things I'm missing in the Mario Builder indeed and I wish would be added to it..

*More monsters from classic SMB.
*More bosses, not just the ones from SMB3..
*More original sound effects.
*More stuffs from Super Mario World.
*More underwater creatures.
*More options to how you will complete each level, not just a flag and tiny castle from SMB you should be able to choose the endings from all other classic Super Mario games too.
*Carrot Mario needs to be improved. Atm the "slow fall" when flying is too weak, he needs to fall much slower so he can fly longer distances with it. Atm it's just like Raccoon Mario that can't fly up to the sky..
*4x and 6x size to place lava and water tiles.
*Music Box item from SMB3.
*P-Wing Power from SMB3.
*Cloud item from SMB3.
*Hammer item from SMB3.
*Angry Sun from SMB3.
*An undo/redo-button.
*Fruits for Yoshi.
*The bonus Memory Card Game from SMB3.
*Be able to adjust the speed of moving blocks.
*Be able to place what item or creature you want inside a bubble.
*Feather Cape from Super Mario World.
*Penguin Mario from New Super Mario Bros Wii.
*Music themes from SML2 6 Golden Coins.
*More music themes from SM64.
*Unedited classic themes from all SMB games and SMW.
*Some more effects like when a Castle is completed it should explode on the map and then open a lock on the map to a pipe and u should then be able to save your game like in classic SMB3. Also I would like you to enter the Castle of the King that has been transformed into an animal before you enter then airship and then you should be able to edit what the Toad is saying and maybe edit the animal the King has been transformed into, that would be fun and then get the magic wand from the airship when the boss is defeated so you can transform the King back to himself again, also everytime you complete a world you can choose if you want a message from the princess where she sends a helpful item and also edit what she writes.

Well thats alot of things I wish would be added into Mario Builder Razz I hope some of these will be added to it in the future.

I messaged the Mario Builder creator via Facebook, apparently he's not going to make another updated version. He's working on a new project that is another game making engine, but with more customization.

Having said that, does anyone know how to change things in Mario Builder v11.4?
I want to change the control options so that to quit an area would be a key combo of 'Enter' + 'SPACE'
As it is, the game works with my USB controller, but when I try to fly, the program thinks hitting A+B buttons = 'Esc'

*You should be able to adjust the "Fixed vertical view" by yourself and choose it's height and width.
*You should also be able to adjust the speed of "Autoscrolling levels".
*Be able to rotate enemies and other things.
*Be able to choose 4x and 6x size for your custom tiles.
*Adjust the amount of coins you want inside a question block.
*Adjust the amount of 1-up mushrooms you want inside a question block.
*A flying version of the orange koopa troopa.
*Giant version of all koopa troopas.
*More Giant stuffs.
*More underwater decorations.
*More types of moving platsforms, like the one from SMB3 which following a black line and the one which changes moving direction everytime Mario jumps on it.

Ideas:
-The hammer or switch to cut out a bridge and bowser fall out of it.
-A Credits editor, of course. It´s a little hard to make honor to tileset´s or song´s creators -in the game, why not credits?
-If you can edit title menu, why not edit the options menu?
-Super Mario Bros 2, 3 and world finish lines.
