Hello!

I am one of the administrators here. Maybe any of you has noticed that Mario Builder forums lose the number of registered members. This is because there were a lot of users who just spammed the space just by registering and not visiting the forums after that even for years now if at all. There were also a lot of not yet accepted members so as an administrator I felt too undisciplined …

Dear members! I am not active with Mario Builder nor it's forums anymore although I still view some activity here sometimes. This is because of the need to choose some activities from all ones in ridiculously limited time. Mario Builder V11 -

-Many kinds of enemies can be placed ontop of a pipe opening. This will cause them to continually spawn from that pipe.
-Added an invisible text block
-Added the pink piranha plant by Alju5 through the engine challenge
-Added the ice bro by lukasmah through the engine challenge
-Added Ice bro to the overworld
-Boom Boom and Koopalings must take multiple shots …

Blurry Mario Bros. (DEMO v3.1 6 WORLDS!) DqPGTWk
After for being dormant for 9 months I have decided to have another shot a creating a Mario Builder Game, which combines all my previous short or unfinished products into something polished and playable while getting rid of some poor design. With this game I hope I can put an interesting spin on old level tropes and make some of my own. This game already has a large chunk of it already done. This game features 12 worlds with 62+ levels total.

Story:
Bowser yet again kidnaps Peach and Mario runs to her castle to gather intel on where Bowser went. There, Mario runs into Blurrytoad and the duo travel through 8 worlds to find the 7 lost Mushroom Retainers. You'll have to find all 7 Mushroom Retainers from Worlds 2-8 to unklock the final world. To rescue a Mushroom Retainer you must find a secret exit in each world. They will each provide essential information to yoou.

I don't say anything bad about your project. But at the end of the video I noticed a delay of loading that brought the Mario Builder editing mode visible. There I saw that you have marked all solid areas with invisible solid objects. You don't have to mark all the ground with an invisible objects because you cannot reach everywhere anyways in the game. Mark only the area where those must block Mario and feel free to leave the rest unmarked because all placed objects means more size and loading and processing time of your files. Smile Invisible objects are however, just for defining custom tilesets where exactly do you want to block Mario. Smile

I've decided to get back into Mario Builder and with that here is an update for my game! This is V2.1 which lowers the difficulty a whole bunch making it more fun to play Smile Thanks Mechasuar for ll the very helpful feedback into making it better. I fixed the secret exit in W1, alongiside adding a temporary world warper in the second half of W1 so you can go where you want to go. There are also two extra brand new levels in world 5 you can play.

Double post but thanks to a lot of help from Mechasaur I have rebalanced my game heavily and made it a lot better to play. Sure I have may of left an exploit to get infinite lifes, but maybe I'll keep it for the luls.

New demo out! Thanks for Mechasaur for testing and providing feedback. World 6 especially 6-2 and 6-6 may be on the hard side, so yeah please give feedback. This is about the halfway point, I'm suprised I got this far. World 5 is the best world I've done so far IMO. So enjoy the Desert and Canyon worlds next up a factory world which will take a while and not sure what's after that need some reshuffling.
